O de V - Vodka
"My respect for tradition is expressed in the way I like to play with it"
For some, tradition is a belief. Absolute and unassailable.
For me, tradition means a solid foundation, a starting point.
Marcello Bruschetti (The Creator)
Most vodkas are made from grain or potatoes. O de V has a far more interesting origin.
Produced in Northern Italy from Chardonnay, Glera and Incrocio Manzoni grape varieties – including skins, pulp and must – this is a vodka with true character. It is the result of a five-stage distillation process designed to remove all unwanted components while preserving the subtle aromatic properties of the grape. O de V then passes through a bed of natural charcoal and dried birch bark to achieve exceptional purity and a remarkable finish.
This is a vodka for people who normally prefer wine.
Serve it chilled, neat or as a base for cocktails that deserve more than ordinary vodka.
Recommended serving temperature: 6-8° C
By exploiting the great organoleptic properties of some not-too-aromatic international and indigenous grape varieties (primarily Chardonnay, Glera, Incrocio Manzoni) and everything obtained from them (wine, must, pulp, skins), a product of the highest quality was born.
Pairing dishes: ideal as an accompaniment to raw fish dishes, sushi and sashimi, oysters, salmon and smoked or salt-cured trout; excellent in combination with caviar.

Citrus Medica / Citron
This is believed to be one of the three species of citrus plants from which all other known citrus fruits originated. It comes from Southeast Asia, roughly where Bhutan is today, and it was introduced to Europe early on; this is evidenced by the ancient Greek term "Kedros", which was common even before the Latin word "citrus". Today, the fruit is mainly cultivated in Calabria, but also in Sicily, Campania, and on the northern coast of Lake Garda near Brescia. There are numerous varieties. Generally, however, the fruit is quite large, light yellow, and its skin is exceptionally thick. O de V gets its aroma through cold maceration, by marinating the citron peel in high-proof vodka for 40 days. The product is then diluted with de-ionized and demineralized water to achieve the desired alcohol content (40%). After the product has stabilized, a three-week decantation period follows, with subsequent three-month storage in bottles.

Citrus Aurantium / Bitter Orange
Originally, the bitter orange was a hybrid, but over the centuries it evolved into its own species. The bitter orange differs from the sweet orange in that its skin is lighter and rougher, but above all in the bitter taste of its pulp. The Arabs cultivated the plant since the 9th century and imported it to Sicily in the 11th century, where it is still cultivated today. O de V gets its aroma through cold maceration, by marinating the bitter orange peel in high-proof vodka for 40 days. The product is then diluted with de-ionized and demineralized water to achieve the desired alcohol content (40%). After the product has stabilized, a three-week decantation period follows, with subsequent three-month storage in bottles.

Citrus Bergamia / Bergamot
The origin of this citrus fruit, which most likely arose from genetic mutation of citrons and bitter oranges, is unknown. What is certain, however, is that the first major bergamot plantation was established in 1750 along the coast around Reggio Calabria, where most of the world's production is still carried out today. The fruit is slightly larger than an orange and slightly smaller than a grapefruit, while its colour is less intense than that of a lemon. O de V gets its aroma through cold maceration, by marinating the bergamot peel in high-proof vodka for 40 days. The product is then diluted with de-ionized and demineralized water to achieve the desired alcohol content (40%). After the product has stabilized, a three-week decantation period follows, with subsequent three-month storage in bottles.

Citrus Myrtifolia / Chinotto
The origin of the Chinotto fruit is also unknown, and it is believed to have originated from a genetic mutation of the bitter orange. The Italian name "chinotto" is derived from "China." It is believed that the plant was imported from there to Liguria in the late 16th century. Given that there is no trace of this plant in the Far East and that, with a few exceptions, it is only grown in Italy, it is more likely that the plant resulted from a mutation of fruits in the Mediterranean region. The ripe fruit is small, orange, and flattened at the ends. O de V gets its aroma through cold maceration, by marinating the chinotto peel in high-proof vodka for 40 days. The product is then diluted with de-ionized and demineralized water to achieve the desired alcohol content (40%). After the product has stabilized, a three-week decantation period follows, with subsequent three-month storage in bottles.
Sì - Pink
In this special edition, our vodka is colored pink, thanks to a natural blueberry extract that gives it its fascinating hue without altering its taste and aroma.
O de V - Cigars

EVO's cigars opened the door, O de V's cigars, however, pave the way. Can you imagine a better format than O de V's "cigar" to add a touch of playfulness, pleasure and glamour to a serving of vodka? How else could the vessel be made more playful? In our opinion, no other way. Therefore, we have designed the matching – original and elegant – ice containers. O de V's "cigars" are single doses in glass test tubes (5 cl), distributed in packs of 60.
